In the beginner area, talk to William and choose Take Starter Items. That gives you your starter kit. Asalluhi is the spell shop, not the kit.

Open your Inventory with F6 or I and look at what you got. Open Character with F5 and Skills with F8. These are the default keys. F1 shows your current keys.

A weapon skill that starts at zero needs its manual before you can train it. Check the kit for the manual that matches the weapon you want to use.

You do not have to pick a build now. Learn where your inventory, character and skills panels are. Then read the spells guide if you want to use magic.
